Marketplace and community rules
These rules keep OfferBuggy safe for buyers, fair for sellers and friendly for everyone who posts. They apply to every account, listing, post, comment and profile, alongside our Terms of use.
1What you can sell
- Digital products you created or have the right to resell: apps and scripts, website templates and themes, plugins and add-ons, graphics and design files, courses, guides and ebooks, and business tools.
- Services and local deals offered by your own business (or one you're authorized to sell for), sold as vouchers: restaurants, beauty and spas, health and fitness, classes and activities, auto and home services, repairs, and professional services.
2What you can't sell
- Pirated, cracked, "nulled" or leaked products, or anyone else's work you don't have rights to resell, including items bought on other marketplaces under licenses that don't allow resale.
- Products containing malware, hidden tracking, backdoors, crypto miners or code that collects data without clear consent.
- Hacking tools, exploits, account or password lists, leaked databases or personal data.
- Fake documents, counterfeit or trademark-infringing items, or products that impersonate another brand.
- Listings that show OfferBuggy badges, check marks or symbols the seller hasn't earned (see OfferBuggy badges and symbols).
- Adult content, gambling tools, weapons, drugs, or anything illegal where you or the buyer live.
- Physical goods shipped to buyers (not supported yet), deals for a business you don't run or represent, and "products" that are just a link to something free.
- Medical treatments that need a license you don't hold, and any service that's illegal where it's provided.
3Honest listings
- Screenshots and demos must show the actual product.
- State requirements, limitations and what's not included.
- Don't copy another seller's text or images.
- Prices must match what the buyer pays at checkout.
- Every listing must be a real offer with a regular price and a lower offer price. See Every listing must be an offer for the minimum discount.
- The regular price must be what customers really pay, shown publicly or on your price list. No inflated "was" prices to make a discount look bigger.
- Honor the offer price for every buyer, with no extra fees that weren't in the listing.
4Every listing must be an offer
OfferBuggy only sells deals. A listing with a single price isn't accepted: every listing shows a regular price (crossed out) and a lower offer price.
| Regular price | Minimum discount | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Under $100 | 10% off | Regular $80, offer $72 or less |
| $100 and up | 5% off | Regular $2,000, offer $1,900 or less |
- The regular price must be real: what customers normally pay you, shown on your website, menu, price list or booking page. Add proof when you list; OfferBuggy checks it before the listing goes live.
- The offer must also be below what the same product or service costs elsewhere.
- Raising the regular price just to make the discount look bigger is not allowed and gets the listing removed.
- The offer price is what the buyer pays at checkout, with no extra fees.
- Listings without a real offer can't be saved, approved or shown on the site.
5OfferBuggy badges and symbols
Badges and trust marks are added by OfferBuggy only, and only when a product, service or seller has earned them. You may not add them yourself, or anything that looks like them, anywhere in your listing: not in photos or thumbnails, not in the title, description, highlights or fine print, not on your profile photo, cover or headline, and not in messages to buyers.
You can't add any of these unless OfferBuggy has given them to you:
- Deal badges: OB Picked Best Seller Big Save New Top Rated, and any future badge
- The green verified check next to a seller, and words like "Verified seller" or "Stripe verified"
- Regular price verified, the check on the Live demo button, and star ratings or review counts
- The OfferBuggy name, logo, buggy (cart) or % mark used to suggest OfferBuggy endorses you, e.g. "OfferBuggy approved", "Recommended by OfferBuggy", "#1 on OfferBuggy"
- Look-alike labels in a similar style or color, such as "Top rated", "Best seller", "Editor's choice", "Hot deal", "Limited", "Trusted", ribbons, seals, stars or check marks drawn on your images
Why: buyers trust these marks because sellers can't fake them. Earned badges appear automatically, and they show only while they're true. See what each badge means.
If you break this rule: the listing is sent back to remove them. Doing it again removes the listing, and repeated or deliberate misuse closes the store.
6Payments stay on OfferBuggy
Buyers who find you on OfferBuggy pay with Buy now. Don't ask buyers to pay outside OfferBuggy, by bank transfer, crypto or gift card, and don't put payment links or outside contact details in listings or messages.
7How sellers treat buyers
- Deliver what you listed, and keep download files working.
- Honor every valid voucher until its expiry date, on the terms in the listing. If you close, move or can't provide the service, refund unused vouchers.
- Don't charge voucher holders extra fees that weren't in the listing.
- Answer support questions within 2 business days.
- Refund when a product isn't as described, doesn't work and can't be fixed, or wasn't delivered.
- No fake reviews, fake sales or pressure tactics.
8Buyer conduct
Use products within the license you bought. Don't share, resell or redistribute them unless the license allows it. Don't file chargebacks for products you received as described; report problems on your order page instead.
9Posts, comments and profiles
Your profile and posts are for sharing real experiences: what you bought on OfferBuggy, how it went, and whether the deal was worth it.
- Post only about real purchases. Every post is linked to something you bought on OfferBuggy. Don't post about things you didn't buy, and don't post the same thing again and again.
- No advertising or selling. Don't use your profile, posts or comments to promote a business, sell something, or send people somewhere else to buy. Businesses sell through their OfferBuggy storefront.
- OfferBuggy links only. You can link to OfferBuggy storefronts, deals, posts and profiles. Outside links aren't allowed in posts, comments or bios.
- Be honest. Share your own experience and your own photos. Don't pretend to be someone else, a business or OfferBuggy, and don't post fake reviews or fake purchases.
- Be respectful. No harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech or slurs. Disagree with the experience, not the person.
- Keep it safe for everyone. No nudity, sexual content or graphic violence.
- Respect privacy. Don't share anyone's address, phone number, order details or other private information, including a business owner's.
- No spam. Don't flood comments, copy the same comment onto many posts, or mention lots of people to get attention.
Report and block. If something breaks these rules, use Report in the post, comment or profile menu. Reports are private: the person isn't told who reported them. If you don't want to see someone, use Block. You won't see each other's profiles, posts or comments, and they can't follow you.
What we do. The OfferBuggy team reviews every report. Depending on what happened, we remove the post or comment, send a warning, or suspend the account. Serious problems, like threats or scams, can lead to suspension right away. You're told when something of yours is removed and why.
10What happens when rules are broken
- Listing sent back with a reason, for fixable issues.
- Listing removed for products that break the rules.
- Store paused after two open buyer reports or a chargeback, until we review.
- Account closed for pirated or harmful products, fraud, or repeated problems. We may also report illegal activity.
11Copyright complaints
If you believe a listing uses your work without permission, use the Contact form with a link to the listing, proof that you own the work, and your contact details. We pause listings under review and remove infringing ones.
