Licenses
Buying a product on OfferBuggy gives you a license to use it. The seller keeps ownership. Each listing shows its license before you pay, and your receipt shows it too.
1Every license includes
- Lifetime use of the version you bought and any updates the seller ships.
- The right to customize and modify the product for your allowed use.
- A non-exclusive license: other buyers can buy the same product.
No license lets you resell, share or give away the product itself (as-is or modified), include it in another product sold for its own value, or claim you created it.
2Standard license
Use in one project, for yourself or one client.
- One end product: one website, one app or one project.
- Personal or commercial use. You can use it for a client and charge them for your work.
- The end product can't be sold to many buyers (for example a template or SaaS others pay to use). For that you need the Extended license.
3Extended license
Use in unlimited projects, including client work and paid products.
- Any number of end products for yourself or your clients.
- Use in a product your own customers pay for, such as a SaaS, a paid app or a website you sell.
- Still no reselling or sharing the product itself, as-is or as a template, kit or starter that competes with it.
4Personal license
For one person. Used for courses, guides and learning materials.
- One person may use it for their own learning or personal projects.
- No sharing accounts, files or course access with others.
- Not for teaching it to a class or using it in a product for sale.
5Seller's license
Some sellers use their own terms. They're shown in full on the listing before you buy and on your order page. If the seller's terms and these rules differ, the seller's terms apply to what you may do with the product, but they can't take away your refund rights in the Buying guide.
6Open-source parts
Products may include open-source components (for example MIT or GPL code, or free fonts). Those parts keep their own licenses, which the seller should list in the product files.
7Vouchers
Services and local deals aren't licensed: you buy a voucher for the service described in the listing, valid once until its expiry date.
