About this deal
Stitch Saint Martin and the Beggar by El Greco (c. 1597–c. 1600). This counted cross stitch pattern recreates the painting in 72 DMC thread colours, based on the public-domain original at The Art Institute of Chicago.
The design is 200 × 350 stitches, about 14.3 × 25.0 inches on 14-count Aida (12.5 × 21.9 in on 16-count, 11.1 × 19.4 in on 18-count). It is a detailed, full-coverage design in full cross stitches only, with no backstitch or fractional stitches, made for stitchers who enjoy a rewarding long project.
The pattern comes as one printable PDF: a black-and-white symbol chart for printing at home, a full colour chart, a thread key with DMC numbers, stitch counts and skeins needed, a page map, and a short guide to getting started. Source artwork: The Art Institute of Chicago object 67362.
