About this deal
Stitch Day by Ferdinand Hodler (1896/98). This counted cross stitch pattern recreates the painting in 75 DMC thread colours, based on the public-domain original at The Art Institute of Chicago.
The design is 182 × 350 stitches, about 13.0 × 25.0 inches on 14-count Aida (11.4 × 21.9 in on 16-count, 10.1 × 19.4 in on 18-count). It is a detailed, full-coverage design in full cross stitches only, with no backstitch or fractional stitches, made for stitchers who enjoy a rewarding long project.
The pattern comes as one printable PDF: a black-and-white symbol chart for printing at home, a full colour chart, a thread key with DMC numbers, stitch counts and skeins needed, a page map, and a short guide to getting started. Source artwork: The Art Institute of Chicago object 181460.
