Good to know
Is it the real sky?
Yes. The positions of more than 5,000 stars come from star catalogues, and we work out the sky for your exact date, time and place, including daylight saving time. The moon phase is worked out for the same moment.
Do I get a printed poster in the mail?
No. This is a digital download, so you can print it right away at home, at a print shop, or with any online print service, in the size you like.
Which sizes can I print?
You can download 3:4, 4:5, 2:3 and A-size files, plus a phone wallpaper. They print sharply up to 16x20 in, and large sizes like 24x36 in still look good on the wall.
My town is not in the list.
Pick the nearest city. The sky looks the same within about 100 miles. Then type your town's name in the place line, and that is what prints.
Can I change the design after paying?
Yes. Open your order link, change anything you like, and download again. Your order link keeps working.
What time should I choose?
The time of the moment if you know it. If not, 9:00 PM is a lovely starry evening sky.
