Every tab, pretty and practical
Good to know
Do I need Excel or an app?
No. It works in free Google Sheets in any browser and in the free Google Sheets app on iPhone and Android. You only need a Google account.
How does the grocery list build itself?
Each recipe has its ingredients listed once. When you plan a recipe, its ingredients are added to the list, multiplied by how many times you plan it, then combined and sorted by aisle.
Can I add my own recipes?
Yes. Add a recipe on Recipes and its ingredients on Ingredients. It appears in the meal dropdowns straight away.
What about things that are not in a recipe?
Add coffee, paper towels or anything else on the Extras tab and it joins the grocery list.
Is the cost exact?
It is an estimate from the prices you type for each ingredient, so you know roughly what the week will cost before you shop.
How do I get it after paying?
No account needed. Right after paying you land on your order page with your link, and we email you the same link to keep. Open it and tap Make a copy.
Can I plan next week early?
Yes. Type next Monday's date in Week of on the Setup tab.
Does it work in Excel?
No. It is built for Google Sheets and uses formulas that only Google Sheets has.
