What's inside
Questions
Do I need Excel or an app?
No. It works in free Google Sheets in any browser, and in the free Google Sheets app on iPhone and Android. You only need a Google account.
Do I have to connect my bank?
No. You type in what you spend, which takes a few seconds per purchase. Nothing is connected to your bank and your numbers stay in your own copy.
How is "safe to spend today" worked out?
Your monthly budgets for day-to-day categories (like groceries, eating out and fun) are turned into a weekly amount. What is left this week is split across the days left, so the number goes up on careful days and down on big ones.
How do I get it after paying?
No account needed. Right after paying you land on your order page with your link, and we email you the same link to keep. Open it and tap Make a copy. The planner is saved to your own Google Drive.
Can I change the categories?
Yes. Edit the Setup tab: add, rename or remove categories and set a monthly budget for each. Every dropdown and total updates.
How does the debt plan work?
Add each debt with its balance, interest rate and minimum payment, plus any extra you can pay each month. Pick snowball (smallest balance first) or avalanche (highest interest first) and the plan shows the month each debt is paid off.
Is my information private?
Your copy lives only in your own Google Drive. OfferBuggy never sees your numbers.
Does it work in Excel?
No. It is built for Google Sheets and uses formulas that only Google Sheets has.
